BSNL, as part of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiatives, is extending an opportunity to Indian OEMs for field testing of indigenously developed Telecom Products and solutions on its network, fostering Research and Development (R&D) in indigenous high-technology telecom solutions. The Proof of Concept (PoC) serves as a dedicated platform for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) who have designed and developed their products or solutions domestically. It enables these OEMs to conduct comprehensive field trials to validate the performance and viability of their technology. Presently, BSNL is actively conducting PoCs for diverse network elements from various OEMs. The organization is also empaneling partners to offer end-to-end telecom solutions to its Enterprise Business segment customers. Furthermore, BSNL has instituted an open policy for the registration and empanelment of Captive Non-Public Network (CNPN) to facilitate the rollout of business cases, especially under 5G technology.
Successful PoC tested products will be eligible for educational order under BSNL Educational order Policy
The applicant entity interested in conducting a PoC on under this policy must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Fixed Network elements including Transport Network, Access and aggregation Network, Core Network consisting of Routers, Switches, Access Points, PON Network, SDWAN etc.
Wireless Network elements including 4G/5G- Core & Radio access Network and various latest developments of 5G use cases.
solutions to be used across multiple segments like Free Space Optics (FSO), Satellite Communication Technology, un-licensed band radios, Point to Point, Point to Multipoint, Digital Microwave links etc
